CFO Cares

CFO Network’s employee directed community engagement program CFO Cares is designed to provide our team members an opportunity to give back to the communities they call home.  Our team members select the philanthropic focus of CFO Cares and the specific charities.  In October of 2022, CFO Network team members decided the organization should focus its efforts on food insecurity and youth services.

Mission Statement:

CFO Network believes it is our duty to support our community through responsive and humbled actions focused on addressing barriers to success for all.

Why We Care:

  • In 2019, 17% of Arkansas residents were food insecure making Arkansas 50th in the nation on this indicator.
  • 25% of Arkansas children are facing hunger, and in some rural areas, it’s even higher.
  • Currently there are nearly 5,000 young people in the foster care system in Arkansas and the number continues to rise.
  • Nationwide there are 100,000 young people in foster care whose parental rights have been terminated.
